It is a ‘must have’ along the North East coast either as a sophisticated second home or as a main residence. We love all of the original period features in this apartment, giving it a real characterful feel. The fireplace is an amazing feature in the lounge and makes for the perfect spot to get cosy after a brisk walk along the beach. The location is a dream too being only 300 yards from the nearest beach.

Beyond the property the village has an independent shop, The Sea Breeze on Harbour Road which is an off-licence and general dealers. For a wider range of shopping there is a Londis and Co-op located in Seahouses only three miles away, Morrisons and Sainsburys in Alnwick ten miles away and a Tesco in Berwick fifteen miles away. The Salt Water Café in Beadnell is definitely worth a visit, open from 8:30am serving breakfasts, light snacks, lunches and afternoon tea throughout the day and stylish bistro dining from 6pm.

If you are looking for local artisan food then why not have it delivered to your door including local Craster kippers, local cheeses and Lindisfarne mead. Eating out? Then you don’t even have to leave the village to sample delicious food and drink served at the Beadnell Towers Hotel and also at the traditional Craster Arms dating back to the 15th Century with a beer garden and grassed area for the kids.

Working off the delicious local food need not take much imagination as stretching from the harbour is the magnificent long sweeping golden beach of Beadnell Bay which at the end sits the imposing silhouette of the ruined Dunstanburgh Castle. Due to its sheltered location Beadnell Bay is a mecca for some of the best water sports in the country. The village is home to its very own sailing club, which has been established in the village for over forty years.

A little further afield approximately three miles off this stretch of coastline are the Farne Islands, a SCUBA diving paradise and naturalists heaven. These islands are the most famous seabird sanctuary in the British Isles and they also have a large colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals as well as hosting a diverse cross section of marine life and coastal species.

Dipping a toe in the water? Why not immerse yourself in the sea? The sea water here is recommended as the highest UK standard of bathing water quality. Castles are in abundance here. As well as Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne Castle are all within easy access. Lets not forget Alnwick castle ten miles from Beadnell Village and just around the corner from our office.
