The Hall boasts oodles of character and charm, it would be difficult not to be impressed by the immediate surroundings. Through the main entrance door and immediately to the right is the front door to the apartment, conveniently located on the ground floor.
Inside the apartment there is an entrance lobby with a generous sized storage cupboard.
Reception Room: A bright south facing room with original decorative plaster work and panelling to walls painted with Elephants Breath by Farrow and Ball, brings a classic but contemporary feel to the room. Two sash style windows with working shutters and window seats provide a delightful place to sit and rest. What’s outside Apartment Two Beadnell Hall?
Outside the property there are attractive and well- kept communal gardens at the rear and side laid to lawn with flower beds. To the front there is a spacious private gravelled parking area for residents and their visitors.
Beyond the property the village has an independent shop, The Sea Breeze on Harbour Road which is an off-licence and general dealers. Located next door to the village shop is a traditional fish and chip shop serving up the best fish and chips around and open on ‘Fry days’ in the winter and most days in the holiday season. For a wider range of shopping there is a Londis and Co-op located in Seahouses only three miles away, Morrisons and Sainsburys in Alnwick 10 miles away and a Tesco in Berwick 15 miles away.
If you are looking for local artisan food then why not have it delivered to your door including local Craster kippers, local cheeses and Lindisfarne mead. Eating out? Then you don’t even have to leave the village to sample delicious food and drink served at the Beadnell Towers Hotel and also at the traditional Craster Arms dating back to the 15th Century with a beer garden and grassed area for the kids.
Working off the delicious local food need not take much imagination as stretching from the harbour is the magnificent long sweeping golden beach of Beadnell Bay which at the end sits the imposing silhouette of the ruined Dunstanburgh Castle. Due to its sheltered location Beadnell Bay is a mecca for some of the best water sports in the country. The village is home to its very own sailing club which has been established in the village for over 40 years.
A little further afield approximately three miles off this stretch of coastline are the Farne Islands, a SCUBA diving paradise and naturalists heaven. These islands are the most famous seabird sanctuary in the British Isles and they also have a large colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals as well as hosting a diverse cross section of marine life and coastal species.
Dipping a toe in the water? Why not immerse yourself in the sea? The sea water here is recommended as the highest UK standard of bathing water quality. Castles are in abundance here. As well as Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne Castle are all within easy access. Lets not forget Alnwick castle 10 miles from Beadnell Village and just around the corner from our office.
