Richard and Carole Evans – Vendors of The Dovecot & 27 Pottergate

We had two houses to sell and were undecided about doing the advertising and selling ourselves, as we have done successfully before, looking at the new low-cost web based agencies or finding whichever of the local conventional estate agencies would give us the best deal. Propology was not on our radar until we came across the ‘shop’ in Fenkle Street and went in one day out of nothing more than curiosity about their unconventional approach. With a converted farm building in two separate bits and a modern three storey architect designed town house with no garden or garage in the middle of Alnwick we knew we needed an agency that would love what we were offering and be able to find buyers who wanted something unusual and special. It took time, but Propology were positive and supportive even when things seemed to be going wrong. Both houses were sold for pretty much the price we asked for originally and we would not hesitate to recommend Propology – to the right clients – or to use them ourselves again.
