Trevor & Cathy Robinson – Purchasers of Beeswing Barn

We previously lived in the Midlands, but once we were both retired we knew we would want to relocate, and we have always loved visiting Northumberland. And one of us is a Geordie – no accent though! When we had a target date to start house hunting, we did the usual thing these days of Googling to find properties and estate agents. We booked a nice hotel for a four-day stay and started to make bookings for viewing properties. In the end, we saw 10 properties, one of which was being marketed by Propology. We arranged to meet Cherylle at the property who showed us around. She was happy to allow us to take our time, ask her questions and just wander around on her own. At no time did we feel rushed (unfortunately, a feature of several other viewings) and when we left we knew this property was a strong contender, although it was only the second one we viewed. By the time we had carried out all 10 of our viewings, we knew this was the one for us. We put in an offer, which was accepted very quickly, and the rest is history. During the conveyancing process, Cherylle regularly kept in touch to track progress, which I would expect her to do. She also sometimes acted as an intermediary when various solicitors did not communicate efficiently (don’t get us started!), and generally smoothed out hiccups when they popped up. I have been very impressed with Propology as a buyer, and both Cherylle and Bryony have always been very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who wants their property marketed by people who know the business, and operate in a very customer-facing way (horrible terminology – but it describes what they do, and not all firms in my experience work that way). In the unlikely event that we move again, Propology would be top of our list of agents.

Final comment – Propology’s website is the best property website we have ever seen, without question. Very well presented, easy to navigate and full of interesting and useful information. Definitely an exemplar!
